WARNING: Never pay anyone to submit your official Green Card Lottery entry for you. It is easy to submit your own official entry for free. The US Government does NOT call winners and does NOT send email messages to winners. And starting this year the US Government will NOT mail letters to lottery winners.
IMPORTANT NOTICE FOR THOSE WHO ENTERED LAST YEAR'S AMERICAN GREEN CARD
You should go to http://www.dvlottery.state.gov/ after July 15, 2011 to see if you were a winner in last year's Green Card Lottery DV-2012. You must use the confirmation number you were automatically given when you submitted your official entry at the Government's official entry site last year. Only you were given your confirmation number. No one else knows that number.
Entry Status Check will be the ONLY means of informing you of your selection for DV-2012. All entrants, including those NOT selected, may check the status of their entries only through the Entry Status Check on website www.dvlottery.state.gov/ and find out if their entry was or was not selected. Entrants will need to use the information from their DV-2012 confirmation pages saved at the time of entry. Only you were given your confirmation number. No one else knows that number. The DV-2012 registration period was from October 5, 2010, until November 3, 2010.
Selectees will be directed to a confirmation page that will provide further instructions, including information on fees connected with immigration to the United States. Entry Status Check will be the ONLY means by which selectees will be notified of their selection for DV-2012. The Kentucky Consular Center will NOT be mailing out notification letters. Those selected in the random drawing are NOT notified of their selection by e-mail. Those individuals NOT selected will be notified of their non-selection only through the web-based Entry Status Check at www.dvlottery.state.gov/. The US Government, U.S. embassies and consulates will NOT provide a list of selectees.
This year's U.S. Government's Diversity Visa Program is named DV-2013. Entries for the DV-2013 DV lottery must be submitted electronically between noon, Eastern Daylight Time (EDT) (GMT-4) Saturday, October 4, 2011, and noon, Eastern Standard Time (EST) (GMT-5), Tuesday, November 5, 2011. Applicants may access the electronic DV Entry Form (E-DV) at http://www.dvlottery.state.gov/application.aspx during the registration period.
HOW TO USE OUR DIGITAL PHOTO REVIEW AND DIGITAL PHOTO SIZE CORRECTION SERVICES:
- Go to http://www.americangreencard.com/howenter.htm to confirm you meet the education or work requirements to enter the Green Card Lottery. A list of elgible countries is here.
- Take your required digital photos or scan existing photos. Complete photo instructions are at http://www.americangreencard.com/howenter.htm .
- Check to see if your photos will be accepted by the U.S. Government on their "Photo Validator" page at http://www.dvlottery.state.gov/photo.aspx (available after October 4, 2011).
- If the U.S. Government approves your digital photos at http://www.dvlottery.state.gov/photo.aspx (available after October 4, 2011), then go ahead and submit your entry and photos at no charge at the U.S. Government's official entry site.
- If the U.S. Government rejects your digital photos, you may email them to us at info@americangreencard.com , along with confirmation of how you are sending the $60 service fee for EACH digital photo you email to us for size correction.Be sure you email the photos as "attachments" to your message. Click here for a complete list of service fee options.
- After receiving our service fee, we review the digital photos you email to us, and we let you know what corrections are needed.
- We then email your corrected digital photos back to you. It is your responsibility to make sure that your email service provider allows you to receive digital photos as attachments to messages in your inbox. We can only return corrected digital photos as attachments to a reply to your original message.
- You then go to the U.S. Government's official entry site at http://www.dvlottery.state.gov/application.aspx (available after October 4, 2011) and submit your entry and corrected digital photos. After you submit your official entry, the U.S. Government immediately emails confirmation of receipt of your entry directly to you. You can then use their information to track your entry.
The last day for American Green Card Lottery Access Center to receive your digital photos and service fee for DV-2013 is October 22, 2011. There are no refunds. Any materials received after that date will be reviewed for entry into next year's Lottery DV-2014.

After you submit your entry data to us online from http://www.americangreencard.com/entryfrm.htm you will automatically receive an email message with detailed instructions
on how to send us your digital photos. Please note the the entry data you submit to us is not your official entry into the Lottery.
The U.S. Government requires that your digital photos for Green Card Lottery DV-2013 be taken after June 1, 2011.

All entries are now done electronically, and all photos are submitted
as digital photos. Signatures are no longer required.
All photos must be emailed to us in the required jpg digital format.

Kingdom (except Northern Ireland) and its dependent territories, and
Vietnam.
